A shipment’s whole journey, every step written to the same record.
This is the route a typical shipment takes through iQ Freight, from price request to journal entry. Not every shipment needs every stop: direct freight skips consolidation, and clearance-only work starts at the customs declaration.
- STOP 01
Inquiry and quotation
The customer asks for a price in the app or a sales rep enters it; the inquiry is logged, the quote is sent and the customer accepts it from their phone.
- STOP 02
Purchasing on the customer’s behalf (optional)
A purchase order for goods or services, with the supplier payments linked to it.
- STOP 03
Intake at the origin warehouse
Warehouse staff scan the boxes with a phone and print a QR label for each one, and the customer is notified.
- STOP 04
Consolidation and main freight
Shipments are loaded into a container, pallet or truck; the bill of lading, manifest and packing list are printed; every leg is followed.
- STOP 05
Customs clearance
The declaration is opened on the shipment, duties and taxes are calculated from HS codes, and it moves through the clearance stages to release.
- STOP 06
Distribution warehouse and delivery
The shipment is received at the destination warehouse, then handed over or delivered with a note signed by the receiver and the driver.
- STOP 07
Invoice, payment and journal entry
The invoice is built from the delivery note or declaration, the customer pays in cash or in the app, and the journal entry posts automatically.
